5 Coats of Glaze
OYN conscientiously looks after the glaze coat amount during the process of glazing. We are conscious of the glaze thickness and firing uniformity. On a one-piece toilet’s visible surface, we spray approximately 5 layers with the thickness kept around 1.1 to 1.2mm. 100% Glazed Trapway

Well-Formulated & Tested Clay and Slip
Our slip formulation has 35% white porcelain clay proportion and 65% black one. Slip & clay tests are conducted in the lab in the factory. These parameters are tested, including permeability, viscosity, thixotropy, plasticity, and more. These lab tests are conducive to controlling and tracking the stability of the clay’s shrinkage, which is beneficial to improve the product’s quality.

Thermostatic Production Line

Raw Materials through In-House Lab Testing
OYN laboratory conducts multiple tests for premium quality assurance. Usually, lab testing commences from raw materials and continues to dispatch. We keep an eye on the rejection rate and flaws at the beginning stage because it matters to do away with poor quality from the early session.
For the original clay materials, tests on residue, iron, water absorption, alkali demand, moisture, ignition loss, MOR, shrinkage, cone, and casting rate are needed.
And for mold making, we test the plaster material to decrease its porosity, which is good for the flatness of the green body.
To ensure the slip quality for casting, the lab tests its viscosity, thixotropy, density, residue, flow, shrinkage, and pH. The parameters of the wetting agents, aging, solid content, wetting agent, deairing, screening, sintering aid, deflocculant, and binder are carefully controlled.
After slip casting and during the drying process, we test the greenware’s density and humidity to make sure it can be accepted into the glazing process.

After firing, the ware will be tested concerning its crazing, citric resistance, water absorption, and thermal shock protection.
